    Since the Space Force grew out of space-related Air Force specialties, they are currently using the AFSC structure to identify Space Force careers. This list of Space Force careers for officers and enlisted members continues to grow and has not been finalized.

    Here are the different occupational fields for Space Force enlisted members:

    • 1C6 – Space Systems Operations

    Space systems operators oversee critical aspects of the Air Force’s space program, including tracking satellites and ballistic missiles, monitoring space flight operations and assisting with rocket launches.

    • 1N0 – All Source Intelligence

    All source intelligence specialists oversee intelligence-gathering initiatives and manage, develop and evaluate the intelligence information that’s collected. They are responsible for interpreting raw data and understanding its significance.

    • 1N1– Geospatial Intelligence

    Guardians in this career field manage, supervise and perform intelligence activities and functions. This includes the exploitation, development and dissemination of multisensor geospatial and target intelligence products to support warfighting operations.

    • 1N2 – Signals Intelligence

    Signals intelligence analysts monitor electromagnetic emissions for foreign communications and activity. They interpret the information they gather to produce strategic intelligence reports for commanders.

    • 3D1 – Fusion Analysis

    Fusion analysts perform and manage intelligence analysis activities and functions in all domains. They also analyze and exploit intelligence information, develop targets and provide situational awareness for operations personnel and key leadership.

    • 3D0 – Cyber Operations

    Guardians in the cyber operations field install, support and maintain server operating systems or other computer systems and software applications. They respond to service outages and interruptions to network operations and administer server-based networked systems, distributed applications, network storage, messaging and application monitoring.

    • 3D1 –  Cyber Support

    Members of the cyberspace support career field have jobs supporting cyber operations in the following specialties:

      • Cybersystems operations
      • Cyber surety
      • Client systems
      • Cyber transport
      • Spectrum operations
      • Radar
      • Cable and antenna systems

    Here are the different occupational fields for Space Force officers:

    • 13N –  Nuclear and Missile Operations

    Nuclear and missile operations officers formulate nuclear and missile operations plans, as well as operate and control nuclear and missile operations.

    • 13S – Space Operations

    Officers in this field perform battle management, command, control and communications activities to defend and support the United States. They also manage space flight planning, training and mission control, along with launching and recovering spacecraft. They may also be astronauts or crew members for space flights.

    • 17C – Cyber Operations Officer

    Cyber operations officers are responsible for a wide range of weaponry, training and intelligence assets. They are the experts on the vast world of cyberspace, from computerized, satellite and airborne communications to postal operations and tracking systems.

    • 17D –  Cyberspace Operations

    Officers in this field direct cyberspace operations, including combat communication and computer systems. They also monitor cyberspace operations to ensure seamless integration of cyberspace operations resources.

    • 62E – Development Engineer

    Members of this highly technical career field require advanced degrees within the following specialties: Aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical, computer, electrical, electronics, communication or mechanical.

    • 63A – Acquisition Manager

    Officers in this field manage every aspect of the acquisition process involving major defense acquisition programs and other major systems or subsystems.
