Service members and veterans have many benefit options provided by the government, but sometimes that isn’t enough to pay for all your costs. These schools offer additional military discounts through reduced tuition rates, free books, scholarships, and other options.
American Sentinel University – Discounted military tuition rates.
Azusa Pacific Online University – Participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and is a Service members Opportunity College to offer military and veteran students help in covering tuition expenses.
California Miramar University – The military spouse discount is for 50% of the tuition for the degree program.
Capella University – For service members, Capella offers 15% tuition discount on undergraduate programs; 10% tuition discount on graduate programs and transfer credit for military training and experience
Colombia Southern University - All service members receive an application fee waiver. Spouses or dependents of active duty military men and women will receive the waiver and a ten percent tuition discount to include credit for military training.
Colorado State University Online Plus – Tuition discounts are available to military personnel admitted to a College of Business (10%) or College of Engineering (15%) online degree program.
DeVry University – If you are currently serving as an active-duty member, guardsmen, or reservist, military personnel serving in any of the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, you and your spouse are eligible for DeVry University’s special military pricing. The application fee is also waived.
Everglades University – Provides military training credit, accepts CLEP, is a member of SOC, MYCAA, and Yellow Ribbon Program. Provides assistance with VA benefits and Tuition Assistance (TA).
Florida Tech University Online – To offset any costs military tuition assistance may not cover, Florida Tech is now offering active-duty service members, Reservists, Guardsmen, Veterans, spouses, and dependents of disabled or deceased Veterans a special tuition price on all graduate programs.
Grand Canyon University – Special Military University Tuition, scholarship per-credit costs are fully covered by military assistance programs, allowing undergraduate military students to earn their bachelor’s degree with no out-of-pocket costs.
Grantham University – Grantham University provides military education scholarships for Service Members, Veterans, family members, first responders, and many others for those who qualify.
Jones International University – Undergraduate degrees for military personnel and dependents at military tuition assistance rates; 20% graduate tuition scholarship. Undergraduate book program—Covers the cost of textbooks, e-books, and any downloadable required readings for military students earning undergraduate degree credits.
Kaplan University – Military Friendly College Tuition Rates reduced from 45 to 55 percent for undergraduate programs for active duty personnel and 24 to 38 percent for veterans. For graduate programs, Kaplan reduces tuition between 12 to 22 percent depending on program of study and military status.
Keiser University - Scholarship opportunities for qualified service members, veterans, and military dependents. Military training considered for college credit.
Keller Graduate School of Management – Military personnel serving in any of the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces (including guard and reserve personnel) and their spouses are eligible for Keller’s Graduate School of Management military pricing of $1,690 per three-semester-credit-hour course. The benefit is not applicable to CPA and CFA exam-preparation coursework, which is charged at $430 per semester-credit hour. You may also be eligible to transfer qualifying military coursework and other post-secondary education credits toward your Keller graduate education.
Liberty University – Military service members, veterans, and military spouses (as defined in 1 U.S.C. § 7) are eligible for tuition discounts, book vouchers, fee waivers, and the Heroes Fund Scholarship.
Post University – Post University is VA approved, accepts College Level Examination Program (CLEP), gives credit for DSST exams, accepts ACE for military training credit, offers scholarships and tuition discounts for active-duty military, veterans, and military dependents. It is also aYellow Ribbon program and Service members Opportunity Colleges Consortium (SOC) member.
Rasmussen College – All current and retired military personnel, as well as veterans, enrolling in a degree, diploma, or certificate program are eligible for a 10% tuition discount. In addition, the 10% discount is extended to the spouse and dependents, age 18-21, of any service member on active duty.
Regent University – Regent offers a 15% tuition award to spouses and dependent children of active military, reservists, National Guard, and those in public service positions. This award is also available to spouses or dependent children of retired active duty, reservists, or Guardsmen.
Robert Morris University – VA approved university, accepts CLEP, is a part of DANTES, accepts ACE for military training credit, offers tuition and scholarship discounts for military students, veterans, and military dependents. It is also a member of the Yellow Ribbon Program and MyCAA. Has an ROTC program and specialized veteran and military advisors.
Remington College Online – Military financial aid & veterans’ benefits, any students are eligible for GI Bill benefits and/or tuition assistance. It is a Yellow Ribbon Program member.
Saint Leo University – Long-standing military heritage, enrollment counselors who will help navigate military specific items, offers scholarship and tuition discounts to active duty military and veterans, in-state tuition to active duty military, member of the MyCAA and Yellow Ribbon Programs, participates in ROTC.
Strayer University – Strayer offers military scholarships which can supplement the military’s tuition assistance program and other educational resources to offer 100% tuition coverage for undergraduate tuition and a majority of graduate tuition.
Tiffin University – Tiffin offers scholarships for military student and veterans, tuition discounts, in-state tuition without residency requirements for active duty military and participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, Service members Opportunity Colleges Consortium member (SOC), and ROTC.
Trident University – Service men and women may earn up to 28 semester credits (7 courses) per fiscal year toward a Bachelor or Master’s degree at no cost.
University of Phoenix – Special military tuition rates for active duty and their spouses, financing and GI Bill benefits plus credit for your military experience.
University of the Rockies – Members of the military community may be eligible for the University of the Rockies Military Grant which offers the following benefits for students who plan to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate degree.
Western International University – WIU is VA approved, accepts College Level Examination Program (CLEP), offers tuition discounts for active duty military, veterans and military dependents, full-time veterans counselors available and member of Yellow Ribbon and MYCAA programs.
