2015 Military Pay, BAH & BAS Increase Status

    The 2015 National Defense Authorization Act infographic shows the status of the budget. H.R. 4435: Howard P. “Buck” McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 authorizes appropriations for 2015 military activities including military pay, BAH and BAS.

    Typically, the Act is signed into law in late December once Congress passes it and the President signs.

    One of the main issues in the NDAA this year is military pay. Both President Obama and the DoD are recommending a 1% military pay increase, whereas the House of Congress has passed a 1.8% pay increase. Update: The military pay will see a 1% increase.
