2015 Military Pay Raise

The proposed military pay increase for fiscal year 2015 is 1% according to the FY 2015 defense budget.  This is based on the Department of Defense’s recommendation and President Obama’s proposal in the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget proposal that was sent to Congress.  The DoD’s recommendation was based on the need to slow the growth in military pay.  However, these changes are disproportionately small to those for other budget categories.
